Hi, this is a very interesting and relevant tournament for me, since I've been working for the last week or so on game theory based strategies as a potential way to identify AI alignment issues on the path towards artificial superintelligence. Claude just read the post and created an adaptive strategy for me to post on the github, based on its analysis of how your past tournament examples could potentially be used for an adaptive strategy. The github is https://github.com/Middletownbooks/Cooperative-AI-Defense
While I’m aware of the concept, I have no experience with actually playing the game. That said, I’d be interested in a role of some sort as long as I don’t end up holding back Team Human!
This is the coolest, most fascinating thing I’ve found in a long time, And I’m impressed by the thinking that you made in devising this. I can’t wait to see the results!
Part of building this new version was to test it out on the strategies from previous tournaments and I was reminded of your infamous "Goose for Gander" strategy that did so well in the 2nd tournament!
It's a little complicated, for sure, but once it clicks it gets even more fascinating! Here's a Notion Site and a WhatsApp group for people to get more involved. Come check it out!

Seeing the comments, I didn't make the top 5, but just in case I somehow get in, ✋
